Privacy Policy

This policy explains the information EcomSeller processes, why we use it, and the choices available to workspace owners and users.

Last updated August 17, 2026

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to ecomseller.co, the EcomSeller web application, and related support services. EcomSeller is a business operations tool for Amazon sellers and wholesale sourcing teams.

EcomSeller is not intended to collect Amazon buyer personally identifiable information. We do not request restricted SP-API roles for buyer shipping, tax invoicing, or direct-to-consumer fulfillment.

2. Information we collect

Account and workspace information

Name, business email address, authentication identifiers, workspace role, and support communications.

Seller and integration information

Amazon selling partner identifiers, marketplace, authorization status, encrypted authorization tokens, Keepa integration status, and other credentials or settings you choose to connect. Secret values are not displayed back in full after storage.

Sourcing and operating records

Supplier price lists, catalog identifiers, ASINs, costs, fee inputs, sales estimates, inventory and fulfillment status, supplier evidence, review notes, and team activity associated with your workspace.

Subscription and payment information

When available and selected at checkout, Stripe or PayPal processes your subscription payment through its hosted payment pages. EcomSeller stores processor customer and subscription identifiers, your plan and billing period, payment amounts, and payment status. We do not receive or store your full payment card number or security code. We share the account and billing information needed to process and reconcile your subscription with the selected provider. Commas (formerly FanBasis) is being evaluated and is not currently available for subscription checkout.

Technical information

Request logs, browser and device information, IP address, timestamps, error records, and security events used to operate and protect the service.

3. How we use information

  • Provide product research, fee calculations, supplier review, and fulfillment workflows.
  • Connect a seller-authorized Amazon account and requested data sources.
  • Authenticate users, enforce workspace permissions, and prevent abuse.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the service.
  • Respond to support, deletion, compliance, and legal requests.

We do not sell personal information or Amazon Information. We do not use Amazon Information for advertising or unrelated profiling.

4. Sources of information

Information may come from you and your workspace members, Amazon Selling Partner API after seller authorization, Keepa after you provide a valid key, supplier files and documents you upload, and operational providers needed to deliver the service.

5. Service providers and disclosures

We may disclose the minimum necessary information to infrastructure, database, authentication, monitoring, and customer-support providers acting under contract for EcomSeller. If you initiate a fulfillment or communication workflow, relevant product and shipment records may be sent to the prep or communication provider you select.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect the service and its users, or as part of a business transaction subject to appropriate confidentiality and notice requirements.

6. Security and retention

We use access controls, encryption in transit, encrypted storage for integration tokens, secret-management practices, logging, and incident procedures appropriate to the service. No online service can promise absolute security.

We retain information only while needed to provide the service, satisfy contractual or legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the platform. Backup copies are removed on their normal secure rotation schedule after an account deletion.

7. Your choices

Workspace owners may request access, correction, export, or deletion of their information. Sellers can revoke EcomSeller authorization in Amazon Seller Central. Revoking access stops new API retrieval but does not itself delete information already stored by EcomSeller.

See our Data Deletion Instructions or email support@ecomseller.co.

8. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the service changes. Material changes will be posted here with a revised effective date and, when appropriate, communicated to account owners.

Privacy questions may be sent to support@ecomseller.co.
